Our elected representatives have been elected by a smaller and smaller margin of the popular vote, to the point where some are now being elected with only 20% of the electors in a constituency. At Demos, we want to raise awareness on this issue and encourage people to take part in the civic duty and vote.

Firstly, Ensure you are eligible to vote in your constituency. That may mean registering to vote or updating your details
Secondly, Find out when your next Election is. This may be for a local, State or National Office. Research the candidates and what they are proposing
Finally, Go and vote. Encourage your friends and family to vote as well.
